There would be lots to say about the diffeent types of anklets, their whereabouts and production techniques. For those interested in this piece I can deliver a precise exposé. High quality silver was used for this specific piece. The age - pre-1940 in this case - can be determind by the roundish endpieces. Anklets made after 1940 have all round knobs, while older ones - as seen here - show knobs with tapered ends. Anklets of this type are part of womans dowrie.
