Comments: I do not have any serious knowledge on this beads (come in different color-combinations), except that I have seen them coming from Russia and Ukraine only. I assume they were traded from their making place (Eastern Mediterreanen?) further East to Ukraine and Russia, where they have been altered into their actual shape on a hotplate. Note: This is just my personal assumption, based on the fact that I have seen them coming out of Crimea only.
