Comments: Authentic coral of the type traditionally used in Algeria, a country where silver, coral and enamel is very much appreciated in jewelry. The AURES-Region is located in the very East of the huge country - at the border with Tunesia. Aures has been a Christian Berber Kingdom from roughly 500 to 700 AD and is a well-know region for traditional silversmithing nowadays. While the country is not very much known among trourists and travellers (partly due to a terrible civil war), I can only recommend a visit nowadays. Beautiful mediterranean sea-side, a very pretty capital Algiers, the mountainess Aures (and others) region and the Saharan South are all places of stunning beauty and definitely worth a visit!
